I don’t know why this song has been in my head this past week. I won’t complain, though. I’ve certainly had worse stuck in my head. I don’t have much to say about the song or even any particular associations with it.
What I will say is that David Bowie is cool. Really, really cool. I’m not cool (at least not in a traditional sense) or fashionable, so I’m not sure why David Bowie’s brand of cool and style appeal to me so much, but they do. (I personally love the Ziggy persona, thus the photo above). Perhaps I’m fascinated by Bowie because I completely lack these traits and he has them in spades. Whatever it is, I’ve always been drawn to David Bowie. He is pretty awesome.
