Angels and the People Side: A Conversation with Joanne Wilson

This month's talk was with Joanne Wilson, Angel Investor and Blogger at GothamGal. Joanne has been a pillar of the NY tech community for years. She has seen booms and busts, and helped dozens of entrepreneurs navigate a path to success. Joanne is a prolific and successful angel investor, and has a portfolio that includes everything from restaurants to tech and all that lies in between. At Angels and the People Side, Joanne shared what she looks for in founders when she's investing, how she helps founders manage difficult team dynamics, her thoughts on women in leadership, and more. I want to send a big shout out to Flatiron School for hosting the event. If you believe technical fluency is a new type of literacy, then Flatiron School is helping to teach people how to read and write. A noble pursuit if ever there were one. Thanks for hosting us!
