Organization development

This is from a recent "Dot War" strategy session.

OD is a way of maintaining your business's health. When I am hired to conduct an OD intervention, I collect and analyze data, then work collaboratively with my clients to make sense of the findings. Following data collection, I help my clients plan and execute interventions to make their organizations run more smoothly, and finally we evaluate what we have done to determine the impact of our work. This might be the end of the intervention, or the beginning of another one.

An organization development process can bring about large-scale change in an organization’s culture, structure, and leadership, or smaller incremental changes in policy, employee engagement, and processes. Action research of this kind can be an important part of keeping your organization running smoothly.
